Korean Beauty products and routines are near and dear to my heart, but living in the Midwest US means locating my beloved products can be difficult. Also, I’m fairly new to Korean beauty products, so having English instructions can be pretty important. Enter: Mishibox! They’re a subscription beauty box and a shop featuring Korean beauty products with English ingredients, instructions, and descriptions. They’re also based in the US so the shipping is very reasonable, as are returns. Today’s haul was my first non-subscription purchase from Mishibox. Here’s what I bought:
- Half Moon Eyes Pink Fruity Mask is what spurred me to make my first shop purchase. I got some in my last Mishibox and fell in love. My skin has never felt so soft as it did after I used this stuff. I bought 5 more. This might seriously by a HG product for me. It’s easy to apply (butter soft and thick, so no dripping). Easy to wash off. Great results. Not much more I could ask for.
- I also picked up some of the best waterproof eyeliner I’ve ever tried, Holika Holika in Poison Red. This stuff is glued where you place it unless you’re using an oil based remover. The swatch below is what it looks like after I washed it with a clay and apricot seed facial scrub and liquid dish soap.
My purchase was around $15, after a discount, but when it arrived I found WAY more than I bargained for in the box. The awesome people at Mishibox included 11 samples and 1 full sized sheet mask! BOOM! Can’t wait to try out some of these Korean sunscreens this sunshine season. I keep hearing how nice the Korean formulas on, so these samples will let me try out some brands without commiting. My samples also included some products I haven’t tried before from brands that I really enjoy, like Etude House, Tony Moly, and It’s Skin. Well done Mishibox…loading me up on samples is a good way to get me to buy more. My face says thank you but my wallet resents you.
Have you tried Korean Beauty products? What are you dying to try? Or, have you found any holy grail products?
